Sign up before the 20th of the month to receive next month’s book. So, if you sign up before midnight on 19 September, you get October’s book. If you sign up on 20 September, you get November’s book. The subscription fee comes out of your account on the 20th (not when you first sign up).

Hey friend, we get it. We’d be asking the same question, because we’re (bookish) snobs like that. The truth is, we know our literary shit. We’ve been reading (and reading) for many years. We own thousands of books between us. We’ve worked in many (many) bookshops and even owned one ourselves for a couple of years. Since 2017, we’ve been handpicking books for you and your friends. Amy has a bloody PhD in books.

Bibliophiles, writers, lovers (ew, who wrote that?) and whisky enthusiasts. Amy Lovat started Secret Book Stuff in 2017 after finishing her PhD in English & Writing. Enter Laura Kebby, who was drowning in her own teetering pile of books. Long story short, we fell in love. Now we run Secret Book Stuff together, spreading a love of literature and helping readers everywhere find their perfect match.
